Student ministry.
At CrossHaven, we believe that students are more than just the future of our church. They're our PRESENT! As such, we value them and we take their spiritual development very seriously. We also believe that the years of middle school and high school are ENORMOUSLY important. During those years of peer pressure and all kinds of influences, students are discovering who they really are. They are establishing lifelong patterns and making incredibly important decisions. One of the greatest influences on students during this time is who they select as their friends for the journey. Our hope is to equip students to make wise decisions, to stand for Christ, and to establish solid friendships that will keep them motivated to stay on God's path for their lives.
During these formative years, students are looking for love and acceptance. Honestly, whoever loves them best will most likely win their hearts and devotion. So our student ministry is built on small groups so that they can get to know one another well, under the direction of a caring adult.
Our hope is that our students will make some great friends for the journey and that we can partner with parents to influence students for Christ!
